Submission Deadline:
All instructional supplements must be submitted electronically in PeopleSoft by August 25, 2025 (10-day count deadline). Late submissions may result in delayed payment.

Non-TALC Employee Eligibility

In general, non-TALC employees are not eligible for instructional supplements.

Important

  • Non-TALC supplements require approval from the TALC Labor Management Committee which meets once a month.
  • Hourly employees are not eligible to receive a flat rate supplement. Rather, they must be paid at their base hourly rate plus overtime if work hours exceed 40 in a work period. Any hourly employees approved for an instructional supplement will need to complete a timesheet for work performed. More information will be provided by Employee & Labor Relations.
Job Descriptions

Always verify minimum qualifications before submitting supplements. Job descriptions are now linked on your school’s Google Sheet for easy access.

TALC Instructional Supplements

  • The supplement amounts are included on your school’s Google Sheet.
  • Do NOT submit in PeopleSoft if the supplement is tied to an employee’s regular job (e.g., ESE Teacher, Counselor). These supplements are automatically added based on the job.
  • DO submit in PeopleSoft for additional duties beyond their main job responsibilities.
  • Work completed for instructional supplements is expected to be completed outside of normal work hours.
  • At-Large Supplements must be approved by the TALC Labor/Management Committee. For additional information, please see Supplement FACT sheet.

Additional Reminders

  • Changes in enrollment numbers affecting supplement allocations will be reviewed by the Labor Management Committee.
  • Please ensure employees are aware that supplement approvals must be completed while connected to the district network.
  • Please review supplement submissions regularly to ensure timely approvals.
  • While supplements are not required to be paid until September 30, efforts will be made to pay earlier (see TALC Article 10.05).
