- Earn 12 specific core credits – An annual grade of 60% or better is required for credit to be issued.
- Complete a Career and Education Planning Course.
- Take and pass Civics course.

The School District of Lee County has a “zero progression” policy. This means that regardless of a student’s credit standing, they will be promoted from 6th to 7th grade, and from 7th to 8th grade. Students lacking credit requirements for promotion to 9th grade will be retained in 8th grade.
