During this time of Distance Learning, we want to assure you that, as part of our Learning Continuity Plan, all
students receiving 504 accommodations will continue to receive them. Your school-based Equity
Coordinator and teachers are checking individual student plans to strategize delivery and/or adaptation of
your child’s accommodations. They may be in contact with you to seek your assistance in providing them,
and/or talk of ways to adapt them to the home environment.
If your child has an accommodation with a school district provided material/equipment support, your
teacher or school-based Equity Coordinator will contact you to arrange for sign-out of the item(s) if it is
determined to be necessary in a virtual learning environment. If a professional consultation is included in the
accommodation plan, we have arranged for this to continue in a virtual environment. Your school-based
Equity Coordinator will arrange the scheduling as needed.
We look forward to working with you and your child in this new learning environment and encourage you to
reach out to your classroom teacher and school-based Equity Coordinator with your questions. You may also
direct your questions to my office using the contact information provided. Thank you.
